Parking at Mykonos Airport
The car park is beside the terminal, open-air, a minute from the doors and modest, because on Mykonos hardly anyone drives to the airport: visitors arrive by shuttle, islanders are few, and the rental companies keep their fleets in yards in Argyraina and along the airport road. Its regulars are locals flying to Athens and the airport staff, and it has space in every month but August.
The plateau is bare and the meltemi sandblasts anything left on it for a week; a cover or at least a sunshade is worth it.

Drop-off and pick-up
On summer afternoons the forecourt is a scrum of hotel minibuses, transfer vans and quads. Drop off, unload and go; to collect someone, park in the car park (first 10 minutes free) and wait inside. Check the live arrivals board first: the meltemi delays and occasionally diverts afternoon flights, and every shuttle driver on the island is timing the same arrivals.
Long stays and alternatives
Private airport parking does not really exist on Mykonos; the rental yards along the airport road are the nearest thing, for their own customers. Islanders leaving for a week use the airport car park or a friend’s yard in Argyraina. The airport has no involvement in private arrangements.
